I posted this a while back on The Fashion Spot but I thought it'd be a good introduction to my style philosophy! 1) I'm not really a jeans person...I mean, I wear them, but they're not my daily uniform. 2) I have a gazillion pairs of flats because being a 5"7/8 Chinese girl is pretty annoying when dating in HK but.... 3)....I also have a fetish for vintage pumps, in particular 40's style platforms which I wear when I'm back in London! 4) I'm very much into contrasting layers of clothing. A slip with a T-shirt, jumpers under dresses. 5) I can't resist voluminous skirts. 6) I'm not really a bag person... LV, Dior, Gucci don't do it for me. However I do collect vintage Chanel bags, especially the less common ones, like satin clutches. 7) My wardrobe is a mix of big designers, lesser-known ones, high street, vintage and charity shop finds....I love bargain finds but equally will shell out for expensive things. 8) Vintage costume jewellery rules. 9) I often rely on HK and Japanese local designers for interesting cut pieces. 10) Eclecticism is key to my style...no colour is off-limits, no style is forgotten, no period of fashion neglected and anything goes!
**UPDATE** I now have started a rather selfish fashion blog - will be indulging in all my fashion whims here!
